Cinnamon Roll Preview

Well right now I'm kind of pressed for time, with school and all! But after may 14th there will be a Plethora of new post's! WOO!
Just a little teaser of The Pioneer Woman's Cinnamon rolls! and other recipes to come!!! And let me tell you, that these are some amazing recipes!! Just editing and posting the pictures are making me drool! After we came home from bible study I ate a couple more cinnamon rolls, how I managed to pack 'em in, I'm not exactly sure! But man a live were they amazing!


The Pioneer Woman's Cinnamon Rolls ... These things are Just amazing. Gooey, Buttery, Cinnamon-y . Need I say more?

Fox Hollow Rodeo

I know this one isn't about food! But I just had to share some of the shots that I got tonight at the Fox Hollow Rodeo in Waynesville! Talk about fun!! I've only been to one other rodeo and this one was a ton of fun! I will definitely be going back! Although the lighting was bad I still got some good shots!! They Will be doing the bull riding outside so it should produce some better shots!! The rodeo is the 1st and 3rd saturday of the month! Now Onto the pictures!!

Buttery Basil Rolls



Oh Ree, Why does your food have to look so tantalizing!! I just want to eat it all!
I found these on The Pioneer Woman's website. I'm working on it I promise!)

Tonight for dinner I made Buttery Basil Rolls, and let me tell you they did not disappoint! I did change them a little I used unsalted butter, Basil instead of Rosemary, and because of a time rush I used frozen unbaked bread rolls that didn't need to rise.

Ingredients:
Frozen, Unbaked Dinner Rolls
Melted Butter, Regular, Salted (I used Unsalted)
Fresh Rosemary, Coarsely Chopped (I used Basil)
Coarse Sea Salt ( I just used a little regular salt)

Directions:
Get the frozen rolls out of your freezer and let them sit out on the counter top for at least and hour so they can defrost. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. when the rolls are defrosted melt a 1/4 stick of butter

Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter



Sprinkle the rolls with basil and a pinch of salt



And lightly cover them with tin foil and bake for 15 - 20 minutes, about half way through take the foil off and finish baking

melt a pat of butter and drizzle it over the rolls when they are done baking.

Serve warm.

Beer Bread

I decided that Beer Bread sounded really good a couple of days ago and decided to make it. The only beer that was in our fridge were some Guinness stouts. Never make beer bread with 2 Guinness stouts! EVER! It leads to a very bitter beer bread. (Unless of course you like Guinness Stout) However I took some fun photo's and could let them go to waste like the bread did! So here they are!

I am currently working on a better beer bread recipe and hope to share it with you guys soon!
